A SYMBOL THAT UNITES US ALL
EU-JAMRAI 1 called individuals to action by organising a design contest to find the first global symbol of antimicrobial resistance. Out of over 600 entries from 44 countries, the winning design by Swedish designer David Ljungberg stood out for its strong message and simple yet powerful shape. Read more about the symbol here.

EU-JAMRAI 2
The second edition of the European Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections, emerges with the ambitious goal of changing the world’s approach to Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) through a One Health perspective.

AN UNPRECEDENT EFFORT
EU-JAMRAI 2 brings together 30 European countries and more than 120 partners to elevate Europe as a model of best practices, supporting the implementation of concrete One Health measures to tackle AMR:
  • Setting a EU framework for Stewardship in human, animal and environmental health.
  • Facilitating state-of-the-art Infection Prevention and Control measures in member states and associated countries.
  • Improving Access to selected AMR-products for human and veterinarian use.
  • Fostering an integrated One Health Surveillance system on Antimicrobial Resistance.

Be a change maker. The AMR Narrative proudly wears the symbol and encourages others to do the same!
